Sheriff Rochelle Bilal Press Conference Re: Bike Patrol Arrest Report

Philadelphia, PA – Today at approximately 7:52 am ET, three sheriff deputies of the Bike Patrol Unit apprehended and detained a male suspect related to the gun shooting at 1500 Market Street. According to our sheriff deputies who made the arrest, the male was standing on the roof of a car, threw the automatic firearm and the clip, and was arrested without incident.

The investigation into this incident is currently underway and being handled further by the Philadelphia Police Department.
