Sheriff Rochelle Bilal and the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office mourn the tragic loss of former Deputy Sheriff Christopher Fitzgerald
Philadelphia, PA – Sheriff Rochelle Bilal and the Office of the Philadelphia Sheriff express utter sadness about the tragic death of Former Deputy Sheriff Christopher Fitzgerald, who was killed in the line of duty during his service as a Temple University Police Officer. Officer Fitzgerald worked for the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office from May 20, 2019, through October 1, 2021. He was a valued member of the team and was active in many community-related activities.
