Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office Host the 2nd Annual Autism and Neurological Community Event
at the Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center
April 26 Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Autism and Neurological community to present a comprehensive day of Autism awareness and services throughout The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Center campus at 4200 Wissahickon Avenue.
This event will feature presentations from experts in the Autism field, the latest in Autism development outreach tools, and registration for the distribution of the Sheriff’s Office cost-free Autism Decals.
The Autism Decal, unveiled at last year’s event, is designed to alert law enforcement officers that an occupant in a home or vehicle has Autism. Those attending this important event will have the opportunity to register and receive the special law enforcement decal.

“Free Food Giveaway” begins at 11:00 am. The Free Food Giveaway has become a signature event of the Sheriff’s Office, unique for its pop-up style servicing the many food deserts that exist throughout Philadelphia.
