Official Statement from the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office 9/17/26 – Warrant Execution

PHILADELPHIA, PA — “This morning, the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office was executing a warrant for an individual at a residence located on Colony Drive when a deputy was bitten on the leg several times by a dog. During the incident, a deputy discharged a firearm, and the deputy is now being treated at a local hospital. Two males and one female are in custody on warrants from Delaware and Bucks County. This incident is under review for further investigation”.
