Philadelphia, PA— On Monday, April 14, 2025, Sheriff Rochelle Bilal and the Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office hosted a public press conference to officially unveil the 2020–2023 Term Report—a comprehensive summary of achievements, initiatives, and improvements made throughout Sheriff Bilal’s first term in office.
The event occurred at Laborers’ Local 57, drawing media members, community leaders, city officials, and residents. Sheriff Bilal delivered remarks highlighting the department’s progress over the past four years, focusing on transparency, accountability, community engagement, training, and public safety.
The Term Report detailed key reforms implemented under Sheriff Bilal’s leadership, including increased access to public information, upgraded operational procedures and strengthened community outreach efforts. The report emphasized the office’s dedication to fostering trust and collaboration with the people of Philadelphia.
“This report reflects our tireless work to modernize the Sheriff’s Office and put the community first,” said Sheriff Rochelle Bilal during the press conference. “Over the last four years, we have made significant strides in ensuring this office operates with integrity, transparency, and a true commitment to public service.”
Following her remarks, Sheriff Bilal participated in a Q&A session alongside executive leadership team members, answering questions from local journalists and addressing community concerns. Attendees received printed copies of the report, and a digital version was made available on the official Philadelphia Sheriff’s Office website.
